We are on day 4 of the dreaded potty training and I think it's going well.
We have only had 2 wee accidents and that was in the first 2 days, so hopefully this is it. The real test will be next week when Tiz goes back to pre-school. I am amazed that she has got it so quickly, but I think the bribery is working - Lol!!
John was on his 9 day fortnight day off yesterday. We were planning on going cycling at Bedgebury with some new friends, but the weather had other ideas. So we went round their house instead, which was lovely. It was really nice getting to know them. They have 3 lovely children and Tiz loved playing with the daughter, C and the middle son C.
In the afternoon Peppa and George Pig were at our local shopping centre, so we went in to see them - Tiz loved them, but she refused to give them a hug 'cause they are too big'.
I had to go to the docs as my heel has been giving out and has been very painful. Well she thinks I have a weak achilles heel and need to strengthen it. She says I should hopefully be okay to do my Race for Life, but if it is still giving out nearer the time, might be best advised to give it a miss :(
Also I have a mole on the back of my neck which has been itching and bleeding lately, so she advised having it removed as it's a lot darker than it should be - I really worry about this as the history of cancer in the family on my mums side is sooo high (everyone who has died has had cancer including my mum).
Weather was supposed to be warm and sunny today and so far it cold and grey. We are off to Knowle Park and Castle in Sevenoaks.

ReplyDeleteSpot on Deb - although John knows Maynard, I hadn't really gotten to know Jess.
ReplyDeleteMy ears are burning - ah, now I see why! It was a pleasure to have you guys, but let's not leave it too long for that bike ride.
